Deacons
The secretary and treasurer are elected for a two year term of office and are free to stand for re-election at the end of this period. Ole has been our secretary since September 2006 and Sandra has been treasurer for four years, having recently re-elected for her third term in September 2007.
Deacons are elected by the church annual general meeting for a period of three years. Our consitiution allows for two consecutive terms to be served and then recommends a sabbatical period of a year before standing again. Peter Banks, Andy and Ronnie were elected for the first time in September 2007 where Sian was re-elected for her second term. Keith started his first term in September 2006. Peter Martell and Frank were elected for the first time in 2005 when Beryl was re-elected for a second term.
50th Anniversary
St Julians is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2008. There is a series of special events planned for the coming year. Those with a previous association with the church are encouraged to get in touch.
