St Julians Baptist Church
A Beacon on a hill for God

Our church was built in 1958 by the people of Commercial Street Baptist Church (which was in the centre of town) who had a vision for the future.

The building was deliberately designed to have community feel about it, not dull and dark like many churches but a place of light and rich colours.

The original people of the church on Commercial Street felt led by God to sell the premises in the increasingly commercialised centre of town and they used the money to build a new church on what was a green field site where the new estate of St Julians was to be built.

Many great opportunities emerged under their first minister Rev. Ray Taylor. The church has had a number of ministers since. The current minister is Clive Taylor ably assisted by his wife Jeanette.

God is moving again in this fellowship, speaking to us about the urgent nature of our calling - we are witnesses and messengers.
